Kisii County Gov’t Unveils Task Force On Revenue Collections

Announcing the new measures on behalf of Governor James Ongwae, County Secretary Patrick Lumumba and Finance CEC Moses Onderi, appealed to the members of the public to cooperate with the revenue officers

KISII, Kenya, February 12, 2021 – In a bid to step up revenue collection, the Kisii County government has unveiled a task force to enhance compliance in revenue collection.

The county revenue base has been demarcated into 18 regions and teams of officers from various departments have been immediately dispatched to various parts of the county to effect revenue collection.

Announcing the new measures on behalf of Governor James Ongwae, County Secretary Patrick Lumumba and Finance CEC Moses Onderi, appealed to the members of the public to cooperate with the revenue officers.

The public has been urged to provide relevant information on their businesses and avail documentation on payments already made besides promptly paying the rates due.
